NASA is sending humans back to the Moon, this time to stay

NASA is planning to send humans back to the Moon for the first time since 1972. After President Trump signed a policy directive instructing NASA to refocus America’s space program on human exploration and discovery, the space agency is keen on sending humans to the Moon and eventually to Mars and beyond.

However, this manned Moon mission will be different as compared to the landings that happened 50 years ago (between 1961 and 1972). This time NASA plans to go to the Moon with innovative new technologies/systems to explore different locations on the surface of the Moon.

This time, astronauts will stay on the Moon. Staying on the Moon will also act as a critical precursor to an eventual series of crewed missions to Mars. NASA plans to send humans to Mars in the late 2030’s.

The modern smartphones that we use today are more powerful than the computers that were used by NASA to send astronauts to the Moon during the Apollo mission. This time, humans will step on the Moon using modern technology.

NASA wants to get started as quickly as possible. So they are calling on private American companies to help design and develop human landers and reusable systems for astronauts to land on the Moon.

If everything goes well, NASA aims to land astronauts on the moon within the next decade. Billions of people across the world will watch history being made as humans walk on the surface of the Moon and stay there for longer periods of time.

This mission will be a giant leap taken by NASA in the field of deep space exploration. How excited are you for this mission?

  1. I think that what you said was actually very reasonable.
But, what about this? what if you added a little information? I
mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your website, but what if you added a headline to possibly get folk’s
attention? I mean NASA is sending humans back to the Moon, this time to stay – Astrogeekz is a little
boring. You ought to look at Yahoo’s home page and watch how they
create news titles to get people to open the links.
You might add a related video or a picture or two to get readers interested about what you’ve got to say.
In my opinion, it could make your posts a little bit more interesting.
